Puppy Grooming
Gentle Puppy Grooming, at Your Puppy’s Pace
Your puppy's first grooms shape how they'll feel about grooming for the rest of their life. That's why we never rush. We introduce every tool, sound, and new sensation slowly, in a quiet one-on-one trailer parked at your own home, so your puppy learns that grooming is safe and even fun.
How We Introduce Puppies
- i.
One step at a time.
Brushes, clippers, dryers, and nail tools are introduced gradually so nothing is a surprise.
- ii.
Their pace, not ours.
If a puppy needs a minute, they get it. We would rather do a little well than too much too fast.
- iii.
Short and positive.
A first visit is often a bath and a light tidy of the face, feet, and sanitary area, so the experience ends on a happy note.
- iv.
Close to home.
No car ride and no busy salon. Your puppy stays near their familiar people and places.
Good to Know
- Vaccines: Proof of rabies vaccination is required before appointments are confirmed.
- Which service? A Bath & Tidy Trim or Bath & Blowout can be a gentle start, and a Bath & Full Haircut is there when your puppy is ready. Tell us about your puppy on your request and we'll recommend the right fit.
- Doodle puppy? See doodle grooming. Early, regular grooming makes a big difference for doodle coats.

Kind Words
A First Puppy, a First Groom
“I can not say enough good things about Pawsh Pup Parlor. They took time getting know Lily Grace since she was very anxious and so was I since this is my first puppy. I would highly recommend them because they are professional caring and did an outstanding job with my puppy. …”
