Why I Started Pawsh
I started Pawsh because I wanted grooming to feel different. Working in the corporate side of the grooming world, I saw how easily things can become rushed and impersonal, both for the families bringing their dogs in and for the groomers doing the work. Sometimes even smaller, local companies end up running the same way.
I knew there was a more personal way to do it: a way where you know exactly who's caring for your dog, and where trust is built face to face, one groom at a time.
Groomer-Owned Means I Get It
Plenty of grooming businesses are owned by people who have never groomed a dog. Pawsh is owned and run by someone who does it every day. I know the brushing, the bathing, the drying, and the patience a nervous puppy needs on their first visit. I know what it takes to do a groom right, and what a long day on your feet feels like.
That shapes how we work. We don't rush a dog to squeeze in one more appointment. And because I do the same job, I can truly understand and support our small team of groomers. When groomers feel valued, you can feel it in the way they care for your dog.
